Instructions
Suggested introduction period - put the boots on your horse at a time where you can supervise for approx 1 hour. If you notice your horse getting fidgety, remove the boots at this point. It's just a reaction to the circulation starting to move more which can feel somewhat tingly for the horse until they get used to it.
The next day, repeat this exercise and see if you can get to 2 hours. Â Repeat this on the 3rd day and after that you should be fine to leave them on overnight or for longer periods unsupervised. The supervision is so you can interrupt and remove the boots if your horse is getting particularly fidgety which could result in scratching or stepping on the boots. Â On first uses of the boots, some horses show a little filling, this isn't something to worry about, just shorten the length of time the boots are worn in the initial week of wearing until it settles down and you should see the opposite then in future use.
Care

SIZE & FIT
Before making any purchase, please ensure you have measured your horse and referred to our sizing guide below. If you are in any doubt don't hesitate to send us an email to discuss your horse's requirements.
Some fabrics and patterns of fit will mean that some horses may change size depending on the rug style. Â For example, some horses may take one size in all rugs, but another might be 6'9 in top rugs with fill, but 6'6 in light sheets and cottons. Â
The Rambo Optimo Stable Rug and Stable Sheet have a unique bib front which can lend these rugs to being a generous fit. Some horses may need to go down a size from their usual Horseware size, depending on their build.
The Rambo Summer Series Turnout uses a stretchy soft-shell fabric and tends to be a slightly smaller fit, again depending on build, this rug may be needed in a size up from their usual Horseware size.Â
